Chris Nakatani – Chief Executive Officer
Nakatani brings over 25 years of experience in planning, wholesale, merchandising, licensing, corporate strategy and retail development to the role. Prior to joining the Company, Chris was the CEO of PLV Studio, where he was responsible for the growth of their Pour La Victoire brand, which lists Cameron Diaz as Artistic Director. Mr. Nakatani was also previously employed at Kenneth Cole Productions, where as President of Wholesale had full sales responsibility for all brands within the Kenneth Cole portfolio. Chris spent several years at Perry Ellis as the Corporate Executive Vice President of strategic planning, and eight years at Tommy Hilfiger in roles of increasing responsibility, accountable for over $700 million in retail sales for 32 licensed businesses. Prior to Tommy Hilfiger, Nakatani worked for Polo Ralph Lauren for nine years in Sales & Merchandising. He started his career at Nordstrom.
Joe Bongiovanni – SVP Supply Chain
Joe Bongiovanni is in charge of end-to-end supply chain, all business development, operations, facilities and back office functions for TALG. He is a high-performance leader with 30 years of professional experience in 3PL, creating and executing value-based propositions that propel revenue and profit growth for clients. He is extremely strong in communicating competitive value and exploiting new distribution channels for customers. A proven operations performer skilled at leading improvement efforts aimed at lowering costs while enhancing service levels for customers in highly competitive, global markets.
Suzanne Khoury – Logistics Project Engineer
Suzanne Khoury joined The Apparel Logistics Group (TALG) on September 30, 2013 as a Logistics Project Engineer. She is green belt Six Sigma certified and is responsible for managing continuous improvement projects in the apparel distribution center utilizing a holistic systems approach of optimizing the entire supply chain to better serve our customers, improve quality and productivity. Suzanne’s passion is in industrial engineering with a systems approach towards continual improvement utilizing lean and six sigma tools to achieve excellence in quality, customer service, and business performance goals.
Suzanne has a Master’s degree in Engineering Systems Management from Texas A&M with 15 + experience in the apparel industry. She is also fluent in English and Spanish.
Ken Bloomberg - Business Development Manager
Ken Bloomberg is responsible for both the business development and marketing functions at TALG. Ken brings to TALG a combined 25 years of experience in manufacturing, operations and 3PL sales with an emphasis on apparel. Throughout his career, Ken has worked with many of the nation’s leading retailers as both a supplier and provider of 3PL services which gives him a unique insight into all aspects of the modern retail supply chain. Drawing on many years of market knowledge, Ken’s role is to provide TALG’s customers with focused 3PL solutions for the distribution of apparel, home textiles and footwear.
Ivonne Parra - Junior Account Manager
Ivonne Parra has 16 years of experience dealing with diverse set of customers, buyers and sales providing excellent customer service satisfaction. Her role at TALG has given her the opportunity to enhance her customer service skills by providing her knowledge and experience to her current role of account management. She is able to focus on the customer needs and wants to ensure all expectation are met with the ability to identify and anticipate needs. She is a strong communicator with excellent organizational skills. She is detailed, self-motivated and able to manage shifting priorities and able to complete tasks in an accurate, timely and efficient manner; highly responsive; and great interpersonal skills.
